Every brushed brass cone pendant is made to order by master metalworker Abdul Jalil in his Souq Nhas workshop, the brass and copper quarter of Marrakech’s old medina. The hand-spinning process — shaping brass sheet over a lathe by hand — produces a seamless cone with no welded seams, a technique that has been practiced in this district for centuries.
