This hand-pierced sunburst brass wall light turns an ordinary wall into a living display of light and shadow. Each round sconce is hand-perforated in a Marrakech workshop, producing thousands of tiny geometric openings that cast radiating sunburst patterns across walls and ceilings when illuminated.
Craft & Construction
The domed brass form features hand-cut triangular and star-shaped perforations bordered by engraved linear detail. Every opening is individually pierced by hand using traditional chisels and punches — a metalwork technique practiced by master metalworker Abdul Jalil and his team in Marrakech. The polished brass finish catches ambient light even before the fixture is switched on, giving the piece presence in daylight as well as darkness.
