This Moroccan tea set for 4 is built around one idea: carry the whole tea service to wherever your guests are sitting. A 35 cm round tray with a pierced gallery rim holds the teapot, the sugar bowl and four glasses, and an arched rope-twist handle with a scrolled crown lifts it all in one hand, from kitchen counter to coffee table or rooftop. In Morocco, tea is how a host says welcome, and this set is sized for that moment with family or a few close friends.
What the Seven-Piece Set Includes
- Teapot (about 450–500 ml) on three small feet, with a geometric relief body and a red silk tassel on the lid
- Lidded sugar bowl on three feet, with a matching domed lid
- Four handcrafted tea glasses (about 100 ml each) with a wide gold rim and rosettes in red, blue and green
- Round tray, 35 cm, with a geometric star pattern, rope border and ball feet; the arched handle ships detached and secures with screws
- Includes 100 g Moroccan tea leaves.
Silver or Gold: Two Finishes
Silver is silver-plated brass, bright and cool against white marble or pale wood. Gold is natural brass with no plating: its warm tone comes from the metal itself and deepens gently with use. Both finishes share the same shapes, patterns and glasses.
Made in Marrakech
The teapot, sugar bowl and tray come from the medina workshop of Kamal, master of silver-plated crafts, who has shaped tea services for over 20 years. The glasses are made in the Marrakech workshop of Younes; you can read how he works in Younes, our Marrakech glassblower. Small variations in pattern and colour are part of handwork.
Serving and Care
- Food contact safe: lead-free and non-toxic for serving hot tea.
- Hand wash only: warm water and mild soap, then dry the metal at once to keep its shine. Our guide on how to care for your Moroccan teapot covers polishing both finishes.
- Glasses: hold them by the gold rim, and warm them with a splash of hot water before pouring.
New to the ritual? The complete Moroccan tea ceremony guide walks through brewing, the high pour and the three glasses. Cafés, riads and gift shops can order this set in quantity through our wholesale Moroccan products programme.
