Hand-Hammered Texture and Cabriole Feet

The dimple pattern covering the wide upper band is created by hand hammering — each mark pressed individually into the brass surface, so no two teapots carry an identical pattern. The wide oblate body amplifies the hammered band’s visual impact because the surface area it occupies is larger than on taller, narrower teapots. Four curved cabriole feet raise the body with a gentle arch, separating this model from footed teapots that use baroque or three-foot bases.

Each teapot is made by Kamal in his Marrakech workshop, where silver-plated brass and brass metalwork is shaped, hammered, and finished by hand. Kamal’s workshop is one of the Marrakech medina’s metalworking ateliers specialising in traditional naqsh-style decoration and hand-hammered surface techniques.
