Gold or Silver Filigree Tea Glasses — Set of 6
Set of six clear Moroccan tea glasses with fixed filigree metal holders, available in your choice of gold-tone brass or silver-tone finish. Each glass is mouth-blown, and the pierced arabesque scrollwork with beaded rim detailing lets the clear glass show through the metal — gold silver filigree tea glasses that bring traditional Marrakech metalwork to your table.
What Sets These Glasses Apart
The fixed metal holders wrap the upper portion of each 8 cm tall glass in openwork scrollwork, providing an insulating grip for hot mint tea while the pattern catches the light. Each glass holds 2.7 oz — the traditional measure for Moroccan mint tea. Choose gold-tone brass for warm, traditional settings or silver-tone for a cooler, contemporary look — both carry the same pierced S-curve and floral motif. Small variations between pieces and tiny bubbles in the glass are the natural result of mouth-blown production, not factory uniformity. Learn more about how Moroccan tea glasses are made.
Craft and Origin
Younes has practised mouth-blown glassmaking for over two decades at his Ourika Road production workshop outside Marrakech. Each clear tumbler is shaped without moulds, so no two pieces are identical. The brass and silver-tone metal holders are crafted separately by local metalworkers using traditional filigree techniques — the pierced S-curves and floral motifs draw on the ornamental language found across Marrakech metalwork. Meet Younes, the master glassblower whose breath gives these glasses their form.
Care and Styling
Hand-wash in warm water; avoid abrasive scrubbing, soaking, and the dishwasher to preserve both the glass and the metal finish. For detailed guidance, see our guide to caring for Moroccan teaware. Pair these glasses with a Moroccan teapot or explore our full tea glass collection to complete your tea service. A set of six makes a thoughtful housewarming or Eid gift for a tea-loving host.

Product Questions
Can the metal holders be removed?
No — the filigree holders are fixed in place and cannot be separated from the glass. Hand-wash carefully around the metalwork.
