The gold hammered brass dome pendant light brings the centuries-old dinanderie hand-hammered tradition into contemporary interiors. Each dome is shaped by master metalworker Abdul Jalil in Marrakech, where thousands of precise hammer strikes produce a surface that catches and diffuses ambient light with warm, sculptural depth.
Dinanderie Hand-Hammered Craftsmanship
In Marrakech’s artisan quarters, the dinanderie technique has been passed through generations of metalsmiths who shape each brass dome individually by hand — no moulds, no presses, only a hammer and the practiced rhythm of the craft. The resulting dimpled texture refracts light outward in soft, shifting patterns that change with every angle.
The raw brass finish develops a natural patina over time, adding character without diminishing the warm golden glow.
