Brushed Brass Cone Pendant Light — Modern Moroccan Metalwork
This brushed brass cone pendant light brings architectural warmth to contemporary interiors through the hand-spinning technique that has defined Marrakech’s metalworking traditions for generations. Each shade is shaped from brass sheet on a spinning lathe, then finished with precise circular brushing that catches and diffuses light in warm, golden tones across your space. Available in five diameters — 40 cm / 15.7″, 45 cm / 17.7″, 50 cm / 19.6″, 60 cm / 23.6″, and 70 cm / 27.5″ — this cone pendant adapts from a single accent over a reading nook to a dramatic triple arrangement above a kitchen island.

Hand-Spun in Marrakech’s Souq Nhas
Every brushed brass cone pendant is made to order by master metalworker Abdul Jalil in his Souq Nhas workshop, the brass and copper quarter of Marrakech’s old medina. The hand-spinning process — shaping brass sheet over a lathe by hand — produces a seamless cone with no welded seams, a technique that has been practiced in this district for centuries. Explore more about these traditional Moroccan metalwork techniques and the artisans who preserve them.
The conical silhouette directs light downward in a focused pool while the brushed brass surface casts an ambient golden glow across surrounding walls — a functional balance that makes this pendant equally suited for task lighting over a dining table and atmospheric illumination in an entryway.
