The gold engraved teapot moroccan is the only teapot in this collection with a gold finish. Every other teapot in the silver range is silver-plated brass — this one is natural brass — the warm amber-to-gold tone comes from the brass itself, polished to a mirror finish. No plating layer. Available in five sizes from Extra Small (250ml / 2 servings) to Extra Large (1.3L / 12 servings) — the widest size range in the gold teapot category.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Natural Brass Construction: The warm amber-to-gold tone is the natural colour of the brass, polished to a mirror finish. No plating or surface coating — the tone deepens with age and regular polishing rather than tarnishing grey, as solid brass develops a richer patina over time.
  • Geometric Arabesque Engraving: Hand-tooled geometric and arabesque patterns encircle the lower body — interlocking star, cross, and floral scroll motifs cut into the brass surface using naqsh technique.
  • Five Sizes: Extra Small (250ml / 2 servings), Small (450ml / 4), Medium (650ml / 6), Large (850ml / 8), and Extra Large (1.3L / 12 servings) — the same size flexibility as the silver scenic relief teapot, but in gold.
  • Four Decorative Feet: The footed base lifts the teapot off any tray, with the same elevated ceremonial posture as the other footed teapots in the range.
  • Also Included in Two Gold Tea Sets: This teapot is the gold engraved base of two complete sets — the 9-Piece Brass Tea Set with Sugar Bowl & Aqua Glasses and the 8-Piece Brass Tea Set with Hamsa Glasses. Both include matching glasses and tray.

The Artisan Story

Kamal’s workshop in Marrakech raises and polishes the brass body directly to a mirror-gold finish — no plating stage. The arabesque engraving is applied after polishing using the naqsh technique: steel chisel on brass, the same hand-tooled process used across the silver range. The warmer, less reflective brass surface requires the artisan to adjust depth and angle in the cuts compared to silver. Read about Moroccan metalwork traditions. Meet Kamal’s workshop.

Your Questions Answered

Q: Is the gold tone plated or natural?
A: Natural — the gold tone is the colour of the brass itself, polished to a mirror finish. No electroplating or surface coating is applied. The warmth deepens with age and regular polishing with brass polish. There is also a smaller natural brass option in the collection — the Hand-Engraved Gold Brass Teapot — available in three sizes (Medium to Extra Large) with engraving on the lower body band.

Q: How do I maintain the brass finish?
A: Hand wash only and dry immediately. Polish every 3–4 months with standard brass polish to maintain the warm gold tone. Brass develops a richer, deeper patina with age — natural and desirable. Polish more frequently if you prefer a brighter mirror-gold finish.

Q: Is this teapot included in any of the tea sets?
A: Yes. It is the gold engraved teapot in two complete sets: the 9-Piece Brass Tea Set with Sugar Bowl & Aqua Glasses and the 8-Piece Brass Tea Set with Hamsa Glasses.

Q: Will the teapot tarnish over time?
