A White Leather Round Ottoman Built for Everyday Living
This white leather round ottoman is handcrafted from full-grain goatskin in the leather workshops of Marrakech, where Abdelilah, the master leather artisan behind our poufs, cuts and stitches each panel by hand. The 20.9 x 11.8 in (53 x 30 cm) round form is covered in white goatskin with a soft matte finish, its top panel finished with a hand-embroidered eight-pointed star — a geometric motif rooted in centuries of Moroccan craft tradition. A concealed zipper at the base allows easy filling and refilling.
Construction & Surface Detail
- Full-grain goatskin leather — supple enough to drape gently when seated, with a soft matte white finish
- Eight-pointed star embroidery — tonal hand-stitched geometric motif on the top panel
- Concealed zipper at the base for filling and interior access
- Round shape: 20.9 x 11.8 in (53 x 30 cm) — sized for a footrest, low seat, or accent side table
- Slight color variation is normal for hand-dyed leather; tonal shifts between panels are a mark of handmade work, not a defect
- Ships flat (unfilled) by default to reduce shipping cost; a filled option with polystyrene foam and cotton is also available — fill at home with shredded foam, recycled fabric scraps, or old clothes following our step-by-step guide to filling your pouf
- Weight capacity: holds up to ~250 lb (115 kg) when filled
The Craft Behind This Pouf
Each pouf is hand-cut and hand-stitched in Marrakech’s Souk Talaa leather district, where artisans select goatskin for its fine grain and natural softness before cutting panels to shape using traditional templates. The blanket-stitch seam technique — threading through both leather layers simultaneously — creates a visible raised ridge along every join and distributes seating stress across the stitch rather than the hide. Full-grain goatskin poufs hand-stitched in Marrakech with traditional blanket-stitch construction are designed to bear regular seating use when properly filled and maintained.
Care & Styling
Wipe the leather surface with a barely damp cloth; never saturate. Condition two to three times a year to keep the goatskin supple. Full guidance, including storage and stain removal, is in our leather care guide. In a bedroom, living room, or serene reading nook, the pristine white finish and tonal embroidery bring a quiet, sculptural presence — an ideal housewarming gift or a piece for someone furnishing a calm, characterful home.
For Trade & Wholesale Buyers

For placement inspiration, explore five ways to style a Moroccan pouf.
A: We offer both options! You can purchase this pouf pre-stuffed with premium polyester filling for immediate use, or choose the unstuffed option with a bottom zipper to fill yourself. The unstuffed version saves approximately $100 in shipping costs and lets you control the firmness and filling material.
A: Use 60-80 ounces of polyester fiberfill for comfortable seating (available at craft stores or Amazon for $15-25), or recycle old clothes, towels, and bedding. You'll need about one small laundry basket full of compressed textiles.
A: Unzip the bottom, open it fully, stuff the outer edges first to create the round shape, then pack the center very tightly. It should feel hard when you're done—it will soften with use. See our complete filling guide.
A: Very firm! Pack it much tighter than you think you need to. The pouf will compress significantly with use, and an under-stuffed pouf will lose its shape and won't be comfortable for sitting.
A: Yes! When properly stuffed, this 21-inch round pouf comfortably supports up to 250 pounds. The key is stuffing it very firmly so it maintains its shape under weight.
A: Wipe weekly with a soft, dry cloth. For spills, blot immediately—don't rub. Never use water excessively or put it in the washing machine. Apply leather conditioner every 6-12 months to keep it supple.
A: Yes, the natural leather smell fades within 2-4 weeks. This is normal for genuine leather. Air it out in a well-ventilated room to speed up the process. Strong chemical smells indicate fake leather.
A: Production takes 2-3 business days, then shipping is 7-15 days for USA/Europe with free standard shipping. Express shipping (3-5 days) is available if you need it faster.
A: This is 100% genuine goatskin leather, handcrafted in Morocco. You can tell by the natural variations in texture, the authentic leather smell, and the hand-stitching (never machine-made).
A: With proper care, 10-20 years or longer. The leather actually gets better with age, developing a rich patina. Many Moroccan families pass these down through generations.
