A Square Cowhide Pouf With Natural, One-of-a-Kind Markings

Soft to the touch and graphic from across the room, this square cowhide pouf is made from genuine hair-on-hide leather in two classic colorways: brown & white or black & white. Use it as a footrest by the sofa, extra seating in a reading corner, or a bench at the foot of the bed. Because every hide is marked differently, no two poufs share the same pattern.

Construction & Surface Detail

• Square shape in 3 sizes: Small 40 × 40 cm (15.7 × 15.7 in), Medium 45 × 45 cm (17.7 × 17.7 in), Large 50 × 50 cm (19.7 × 19.7 in), all 40 cm (15.7 in) tall
• Hair-on cowhide: the short natural hair is left on the leather, giving a smooth, velvety surface with real cowhide markings
• Four-panel top: the top is pieced from four quarters that meet at a center cross, framed by single-panel sides joined with fine tonal topstitching
• Zipper base: a zipper underneath lets you fill, top up, or refill the pouf yourself
• Natural variation: the size and placement of brown, black, and white patches differ from pouf to pouf and may vary from the photos. This is the hide itself, not a defect

Filled or Unfilled: Your Choice

Filled poufs arrive ready to use and hold up to about 250 lb (115 kg) when filled. Unfilled poufs ship flat, which lowers freight cost; fill at home with shredded foam, recycled fabric scraps, or old clothes. Avoid feathers or loose polyfill, which compress and lose shape. Made to Order in Marrakech

Each cowhide pouf is hand-cut and hand-stitched in the Souk Talaa leather district by Abdelilah, the master leather artisan behind our poufs. Every panel is cut and matched by hand. Poufs are made to order in small batches, so please allow 5–7 business days for production before shipping.

Care
